Every moment at Jumby Bay is designed for ease

With two weeks to unwind, you’ll have the time and space to fully settle into the rhythm of island life. Every moment at Jumby Bay is designed for ease: your only decisions will be beach or pool, spa or sailing, barefoot lunch or fine dining under the stars.

Start your days slowly with breakfast on the veranda, soaking up the sea breeze that drifts in over fresh pastries, tropical fruit and homemade smoothies. Take a morning yoga class, or head off on a bike ride to explore the island’s palm-fringed paths.

If you’re feeling active, the island offers complimentary watersports from sailing and paddleboarding to windsurfing and wakeboarding as well as tennis courts, fitness classes and guided nature walks.

For those drawn to the water, days can be spent snorkelling around nearby Bird Island, joining a round-the-island boat tour, or simply drifting in and out of the calm sea. Enjoy a private beach picnic on wild and beautiful Pasture Bay or indulge in a long, lazy lunch at the Pool Grille, followed by a treatment at the ocean-view spa.

DAY 1 - 15

Families are wonderfully cared for here, with a creative kids’ club, nature-led experiences and plenty of space to roam. Meanwhile, grown-ups can enjoy rum tastings, wine pairings or cocktails at Genny’s Bar as the sun sets.

Day excursions

If you’re tempted to leave your private island haven (even just for a few hours), here are a few carefully-selected ways to experience more of Antigua’s culture, nature and beauty.

Antigua by sea
Set off from Jumby’s dock on a private boat tour of Antigua’s hidden bays and white-sand beaches. Sail along the island’s leeward coast, stopping to snorkel in quiet coves or drop anchor for a beachside lunch. It’s a wonderful way to see the dramatic cliffs of the Pillars of Hercules or the coral reefs off Cades Bay.

Historic Nelson’s Dockyard and English Harbour
Step into the island’s colonial past with a half-day visit to Nelson’s Dockyard, the only Georgian-era naval dockyard still in operation. Browse boutiques, art galleries and cafes, or take in the views from Shirley Heights, where the Sunday sunset party with steel drum music and barbecue is a local favourite.

Antigua’s market and cultural tour
Join a private guide for a relaxed meander through the colourful markets and streets of St John’s. Visit the local museum, pick up handmade crafts and spices and sample street food favourites like conch fritters and sweet tamarind juice.

Helicopter over Montserrat or Barbuda
For something truly special, take to the skies on a private helicopter tour. Witness the dramatic volcanic landscapes of neighbouring Montserrat or enjoy a bird’s-eye view of Barbuda’s pink-sand beaches and sprawling reefs. An unforgettable experience for photographers and adventure seekers.

Turtle Conservation encounters (seasonal)
Join the island’s conservation team for a behind-the-scenes experience supporting the Hawksbill Turtle Project. Depending on the time of year, you may be able to assist with hatchling releases or observe nesting turtles at dusk.
