A lot of what I do doesn’t sound particularly glamorous.

It’s not booking the hotel or choosing the destination, it’s making sure a family with young children has interconnecting rooms so everyone gets a good night’s sleep or flagging allergies to shellfish with the chef.

It’s letting the hotel know it’s a special birthday. It’s checking that the airline knows you prefer an aisle seat and that your membership number is logged.

None of it is flashy. Most of it goes unnoticed. But it’s exactly what makes your holiday feel seamless and special.

The newest member of our team (yet she’s still been with Travelwise since 2017), Katie’s always one step ahead with the latest must-see Disney and cruise experiences. She’s renowned for adding personalised extras and thoughtful details that make each journey feel truly one-of-a-kind.

That’s the funny thing about doing this job well. When everything runs smoothly, it just feels like a well-planned trip. You don’t see the hours spent checking connections or briefing the hotel on your preferred pillow type. You just arrive and everything is right, with no reminders and no repeating yourself.

But if one of those tiny details goes wrong (like the wrong bed layout or a missed anniversary) the whole tone of the trip can change. That’s why we care so much about getting it right the first time.

It’s not just about logistics, it’s about knowing you.

At Travelwise, we build detailed client profiles so we can remember the things you’ve told us over the years, without you needing to repeat them.

That might be your dietary preferences, your favourite hotel chain, whether you like a window seat or that you absolutely can’t stand flying from Gatwick. It might be that you always travel in April for your anniversary or that you’re allergic to feathers and need a hypoallergenic room.

And we don’t just wait to be told: if we know your birthday’s coming up, we’ll let the hotel know. If we’ve spotted you prefer spa credits over excursions, we’ll build that into the booking. It’s proactive, not reactive, and that’s what makes it feel effortless for you.
