Lefkada

Tucked into the Ionian Sea and connected to the mainland by a floating bridge, Lefkada feels like a secret worth keeping. With its turquoise bays, quiet villages and a breezy sailing scene, this unspoilt island offers a gentler pace of Greek island life.

You’ll be based near Nikiana, a peaceful harbour village with easy access to some of the island’s best beaches and watersports. Spend your days swimming in crystal-clear coves, paddleboarding at sunrise or setting off on a yacht charter to nearby islets like Meganissi or Kalamos. We can also arrange a permit so you can take a boat trip to Skorpios (the private island once owned by the Onassis family) for something that’s – literally – off the beaten path.

Evenings are spent wandering down to the harbour for seafood suppers at family-run tavernas or taking a short taxi to Nidri for a livelier atmosphere.

Days 1 - 7

Lefkada invites you to slow down, switch off and enjoy the easygoing pleasures of island life: warm seas, good wine and long, golden evenings by the water.

Corfu

A short flight brings you to Corfu, often called the emerald jewel of the Ionian. With its cypress-studded hills, pastel Venetian buildings and powder-soft beaches, Corfu blends natural beauty with a rich cultural heritage shaped by centuries of influence.

You’ll be based close to the coast for easy beach days and relaxed mornings by the water. Make time to explore Corfu Town, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, to admire its cobbled alleys and grand fortresses. Browse boutiques tucked into 17th-century arcades, stop for a Greek coffee in the old town square or climb to the top of the Old Fortress for sweeping views across the sea to Albania.

We recommend a visit to Achilleion Palace, the 19th-century neoclassical home of Empress Elisabeth of Austria, with its grand halls and impressive gardens filled with mythological sculptures. Or, venture further afield with a boat trip to the neighbouring island of Paxos, where you can swim in sea caves and enjoy lunch in the harbour at tiny Gaios.

For something more active, head inland for a 2025 cycling or e-bike tour through the island’s olive groves and mountain villages, stopping to taste local kumquat liqueur or wild honey. Keen walkers can also enjoy a section of the Corfu Trail, which winds through quiet coastal paths and pine-covered hills.

Days 8 - 14

Evenings here are for slow dinners under the stars complete with fresh seafood, chilled Rosé and the scent of jasmine drifting in on the breeze. Corfu offers that perfect balance of history, hospitality and heavenly landscapes.

Athens

Finish your Greek adventure in the capital for a final infusion of ancient mythology and Mediterranean life. Athens practically pulses with energy – this is a place where crumbling temples share the skyline with rooftop bars and avant-garde galleries.

Settle into your hotel in one of the city’s elegant central districts, ideal for exploring on foot. Start your visit with a guided tour of the Acropolis and Parthenon, where centuries of history are brought to life with stories of gods, philosophers and empires. Just below, the Acropolis Museum is a must-see, with its striking architecture and beautifully curated ancient artefacts.

Beyond the landmarks, Athens is best discovered through its neighbourhoods. Stroll through Plaka’s neoclassical streets, browse local design studios in Psyri or head to Kolonaki for stylish cafés and boutiques. For 2025, new street food tours are highlighting the city’s contemporary culinary scene, from loukoumades drizzled in honey to modern mezze with a twist.

Days 15 - 17

If time allows, escape the city buzz with a half-day trip to Cape Sounion, where the Temple of Poseidon stands dramatically above the Aegean, especially beautiful at sunset.

Evenings in Athens are all about rooftop dining, with views that stretch across the rooftops to the glowing Parthenon. Raise a final glass to your Greek adventure: a journey of island days, Aegean flavours and moments to remember.
